I think Glasgow is great. It has a lot of places you can go to. For example cinema and shopping in town centre. I lived here for almost 6 years now. I like visiting Glasgow’s city center. When i first arrived here i found the language very difficult and strange.

I like Glasgow because it is a great city and the people are very friendly. There is a great support for football here, which i also enjoy. There are also some bad people who give everyone a bad name e.g. when I first came here people used to abuse me but now i have settled into the community an every one is friendly now.

The people of Glasgow are friendly and they so nice to each other. I’ve been here about 4 years and I love glasgow. I had a problem when I was new here because i didn’t have any friends and I found the language very difficult. But now I’ve made lots of friends and I go to Drumchapel High School. I love my school because the school teachers are very kind and nice. I’ve got Polio. I can’t use one of my legs as well as the other. I was worried because of the polio that I could not get upstairs because i got polio but the headteacher helped me. We’ve got a lift in our school.It was only for teachers but the headteacher let me use it as well. That was so kind and that’s why I like Glasgow.

My come from Hungary/Budapest.
I 8-9 mouths live in Glasgow and for me very good. Now I stay in Showlands English learning class. And here the teachers very helpfully

I like George Square and the city centre and Glasgow Central Mosque. I also like Celtic Park. I go to school in Shawlands Academy and I like the school. I like football and cricket. Scotland is a good country. I am very happy here in Scotland. I can go to school and play football here.

i have been in Glasgow for 3 months. i like Celtic football club.
my favourite food is chips. my favourite drink is coca cola.

Scotland is good. I like the bilingual support unit. It is fun. We made a film. I like to go shopping in Glasgow. I like to play cricket in the park.

I like scotland, but there are some reasons why I don’t like it. I don’t like especially weather.I like shoping because there are lots of shops .

Scotland is very different from Afghanistan. Afghanistan is a desert country and at war. I’m happy here because I study at school, in my country I’ve never studied at school. Everything is good here. In Afghanistan we don’t have electricity, no fridge, no light. Here everything is available and you can have fresh fruit all the time.
Scotland is a very quiet country, this is good.

Every day, I play football. I play with other chldren from Afghanistan. On Saturday I play football in Anderston. I want to play every day. I didn’t play football in Afghanistan because it’s too dangerous and there’s no grass.

I like Glasgow because there are many shops and the town is big. I like snow and rain. I like the young scot card. I’m happy I can go to school here. I stay with my cousin but they are moving to England so I have to move as well because I don’t have a cousin in Glasgow. Home Office wants me to go back to Afghanistan in a year, but I don’t have family there, no home, no money.

I like Glasgow – I like to play football with my friends, some Scottish, some refugees School is good because I get to meet my friends, and learn English and I like maths too. I have been here for 9 months. I don’t like that I don’t have a passport. I miss my family
